Welcome to Little J's Pre School Gosport Hampshire

Little J's was established in 2005 with a philosophy that was structured to align play with learning. Every child is treated as an individual and is encouraged to accomplish everything that they are able to through play.

All staff are fully qualified to a level that is necessary for this age range, they all hold first aid certificates and enhanced CRB checks. In addition all staff attend regular training courses to update their knowledge.

Little J's aim to:-

• Provide a safe and stimulating environment.
• Provide a high quality of care and education for children in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• Work in partnership with parents to help children learn and develop.
• Offer children and their parents a service that promotes equality and values diversity.
• Help children to take forward their learning and development by helping them to build upon what they already know and can do.

Every child thrives in this environment which allows them to express their creativity and socialise fully with their peers.

A Typical Session at Little J's Pre School

Little J's believes that care and education are equally important in the experiences that we offer children. The sessions are organised so that the children can choose from a range of activities building up their ability to select and work through a task to it's completion, having fun through play. The children are encouraged to take part in outdoor activities (in our enclosed play area), that contribute to their health, physical development, and their knowledge of the world around them. We provide all of the children with interesting activities that are appropriate for their age and stage of development.

Snack time is a social time, which helps to develop your child's independence by encouraging them to self select from the nutritious snacks and drinks we provide. Water is available for the children to drink throughout the session.

To register your child please contact Jacqui at Little J's Pre School School.

It is advised that you register as early as possible, to ensure a successful placement.

You will need to supply the following:

Child's birth certificate
Registrant's full name
Proof of your address

It must be noted that Little J's reserves the right to refuse any application.

Little J's Pre School School Charges

At the start of the term following your child's 3rd birthday, they will be entitled to 15 hours per week of free pre school education. Until they reach this age a fee of £6.50 per session (payable in advance) will be charged.
